Sauces or Stews

If you are looking for the perfect saucepot to make spaghetti sauce, chili or anything "saucy" this is your pot. I use it with a splatter screen placed over the top and stir the sauce with one of those beautiful Exoglass Spoons that look like a wooden spoon, but never absorb any color from tomato sauces.
SCANPAN Titanium is made in Denmark. It is one of the best lines of nonstick cookware on the market. The pans have a Ceramic Titanium non-stick cooking surface and a Pressure-cast aluminum body.
These pans have heavy-gauge, perfectly flat bases and can be used on electric, gas, ceramic and halogen cook tops. All the cookware, glass lids, and the ergonomically designed handles are ovenproof to 500 degrees.

The Very Best Non Stick Cookware

After nearly 20 years of use our scanpan developed a chip in the non stick surface. We contacted scanpan about this and sent the pan in. To our delight we received a brand new scanpan free of charge. If you want the very best in non stick cookware buy a scanpan, not only is the non stick finish extreamly durable, easy to clean and use but the company stands 100% behind their products.

ScanPan Low Sauce Pot from Amazon

Scanpan makes great cookware. This low sauce pot is perfect for sauteing everything, for starting a stew or soup. The heavy gauge pot is right for many purposes. Its looks make it OK to take to the table (often done at our house). I have two other Scanpan pots of different sizes, and can't say enough good about the sturdiness, ease of cleaning and usefulness. Well-priced compared to other high-end cookware.
